Jayne Taylor Photography

Jayne Taylor is a London-based photographic artist. She works using the full range of photographic media, from digital microscopes to Victorian print processes and from stereoscopic slides to handmade books. Her non-prescriptive approach allows the form of each new project to be motivated by its subject matter. She holds a 1st Class BA in Photographic Arts and an MA in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster.

Alongside her photographic practice, Jayne works as a tutor on the BA Photography programme at Open College of the Arts and as an Arts Mentor for prison-arts charity The Koestler Trust. She offers private tuition in photography theory/essay-skills and also bespoke workshops in "alternative" processes, such as cyanotype printing and pinhole photography.
